Under the Patronage of Prof. Adnan Barden, a Conference on Special Education at Amman Arab University

Amman - The former Prime Minister, Prof. Adnan Barden, affirmed that Amman Arab University (AAU) has further contributed to its excellence in addressing basic issues and realistic problems that need practical solutions in all countries of the Arab world.

During his patronage of the opening of the seventh international scientific conference entitled "Contemporary Special Education: Future Vision and Challenges", which was held at the AAU with the presence of a number of Excellences the senates and deputies of the parliament and other officials. Prof. Barden said that the field addressed by the conference is considered one of the fields of knowledge that mostly needs patience and sacrifice, coupled with the human spirit and the spirit of giving for people with special needs and their rights to be empowered with opportunities to live in dignity and participate in practical life by having the doors opened for them to express themselves and highlight their talents and creativity.

He stressed that Jordan did not reach the world championships and did not win the gold and silver medals except through the creativity of this category in the continuous championships and successive Olympic sessions. All this motivates us to provide all possible care to enable them to use their energies in sound ways to achieve themselves and show their achievements and highlight their creative abilities.

In his speech on behalf of the AAU, Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of AAU, expressed his gratitude for the sponsorship of Prof. Adnan Barden for the activities of the conference, as he enjoys a special status in AAU being one of the founders of the University.

Prof.Al-Widyan said that the conference comes from the human values that we believe in to keep pace with every newcomer. In education and its sciences in general, and special education in particular in light of the contemporary and rapid developments in its fields, and the philosophy of our marginal kingdom of Jordan towards citizens with disabilities and taking care of them and enacting legislation and regulations that deal with their rights. Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein and his directives in the discussion papers in providing all care and support for their service, as a human element that has all legitimate rights to development and development, which contributes to building a society of justice towards all its groups.
