Jordanian Flag Day at Amman Arab University

It is a great national occasion to share the country throughout its people, institutions and sectors, with our tongues and from our hearts a pure greeting mixed with pride. With these words, the President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, began the ceremony of the University's celebrations of the Jordanian Flag Day, on April 16 of each year.

During his sponsorship, Prof. Al-Widyan added that we raise our hands and carry the pulse of the glory of the homeland with our hearts and print the kiss of belonging and sincerity on the forehead of the homeland, raising His Majesty the Hashemite King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, the truest congratulations and blessings joined with the highest meanings of pride and belonging, praying to God to preserve His Majesty and His Highness his crown prince as a support for our homeland and its loyal people.

In turn, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid bini Hamdan, pointed out in his speech that our celebration comes only as an expression of our conscious national commitment and our keenness to consolidate the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its leadership, raising the always flag under the leadership of our King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein and his Crown Prince.

Dr. Youssef Al-Maani, a faculty member at the College of Sharia at the University, enriched the celebration through praying for the homeland, the leader of the homeland and his Crown Prince, the continued health and wellness, security, safety and stability, and that this banner remains high. It is noteworthy that the celebration was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, the Assistant President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mrs. Nadia Al-Qadimat, and a number of members of the teaching and administrative staff and a group of students. The ceremony was moderated by the student Zainab Qouzah.
