Suhaila Banat from "Amman Arab University" Talks about Bullying
Amman - As part of its continuous efforts to serve the community and put the expertise of faculty members at Amman Arab University to service society, Professor Suhaila Banat, a faculty member at the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, participated in a live interview within one of the paragraphs of the (Beitna Amer) program, through which she talked about "bullying others through the media."
Prof.Banat showed the psychological effects of bullying on individuals, whether they have disabilities or people who have certain problems such as obesity or any other problem, in addition to the various forms of bullying and their effects. During the meeting, she stressed the importance of moving away from the media and social media from behaviors that bear the nature of bullying because they cause psychological harm.
Prof. Banat added that the basis for dealing with others is the acceptance of the other person regardless of his shape, color or social status, and this contributes to improving social relations, whether it is among family members, work or friends.
