"Amman Arab University" Organizes the Annual iftar for Orphans
Amman - In order to consolidate the role of Amman Arab University in community service and social responsibility, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the College of Arts and Sciences, , organized a Ramadan charity Iftar at the University for more than (100) orphan children from different associations, in the presence of a number of faculty and administrative members , the team of the Deanship of Student Affairs, a group of students ,volunteers, and a number of university partners, including the Charitable Al-Atrija Association and Hibat Attaa’ Association, with the participation of the “We Are for You” initiative.
The Iftar gathering included a lot of entertainment and recreational games to draw a smile on the faces of orphaned children, in addition to presenting competitions in an atmosphere of love between children and the volunteer team, and distributing gifts and encouragement prizes.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, welcomed the attendees and conveyed to them the greetings of the President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, and praised the increase in participation in such initiatives. At the end of the event, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan and the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Wafa’ Al-Eid, the Al-Atrija Charity Association, Hibat Atta’ Association, the “We Are for You” initiative, and the management of Amman Mall, represented by Dr. Kawkab Al-Tamimi, were honored for their kind contribution to this event.
