A Specialized Workshop for Students of College of Pharmacy at “Amman Arab University" 

The Deanship of Student Affairs / Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up Office at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy and Apex Company, held a training workshop entitled "A career in regulatory affair" presented by Dr. Rula Kawar. The implementation of this workshop came as one of the training courses and workshops implemented by the office within a portfolio Student skills that qualify the student for the labor market.

During the workshop, Dr. Kawar talked about the role of the pharmacist in applying local and international drug legislation and regulations that ensure the safety, efficacy, and quality of medicine and its availability at reasonable prices, international specifications for medicines and best practices for quality management in the initial and final manufacturing process, and the application of good manufacturing practices throughout the life cycle of pharmaceutical products and regulatory compliance with the Charter Professional ethics, in addition to the role of the pharmacist in preparing a file for all the regulatory requirements for drug registration with the Saudi Food and Drug Administration, the importance of applying the principles of pharmacovigilance and drug safety for pharmaceutical products, and the modern methods used globally in applying the system for monitoring side effects of treatments, and its impact on collecting data on treatments globally, and their potential side effects, and their importance to medical providers of health care.

The students showed great interaction with Dr. Kawar by asking questions and inquiries and presenting some drugs as applied models on the regulatory requirements required for each product. At the end of the workshop, Prof. Rana Abu Hweij, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rola Kawar, appreciated the role of those The free courses aim to refine the student’s personality, develop his skills, and distinguish him from other graduates. In turn, the Dean of Student Affairs encouraged all students to participate in all the courses held by the university, which support not only specialized skills, but also personal skills such as CV writing, communication and communication skills, marketing skills, and others. They have a great impact on the development of the student's personality, which qualifies him for the labor market with high professionalism
