At the beginning, I am pleased to welcome all browsers to the official website of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University (AAU); whether you are just curiously passing by, current or prospective student, I sincerely wish everyone a fruitful visit.
The Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the newly established colleges at AAU where it has actually commenced work at the beginning of the academic year 2016/2017. The College is proud to employ distinguished teaching staff who are experts in their field and holders of higher degrees from prestigious educational institutions and this will inevitably reflect on the quality of education, its outputs, and the quality of graduates.
Students enroll in a well-designed program that enables them to be highly competitive in the various work-force fields available within the public and/or private sectors. The college has invested a considerable amount of resources in building laboratory facilities in order for students to master the required skills as well as extract knowledge that will aid in successfully and competently practice the profession in a rapidly growing world.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at AAU adopts a distinctive educational model through the development of an advanced study plan and program that follows a semester-based system for a period of five. Graduates will
receive a bachelor degree in pharmacy (BPharm) after successfully completing 160 credit hours and they are expected to attain a pivotal role as a pharmacist in public and private hospitals, community pharmacies and as a distinguished researcher in the pharmaceutical sciences. Since its establishment, the college has adopted through the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Committee the idea of providing a quality educational service, which is in line with the quality standards in preparation for obtaining the academic accreditation.
