Specialized 3D Printing Workshop for Students at Amman Arab University
The Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Center at Amman Arab University, in collaboration with the Crown Prince Foundation's MakerSpace, organized a two-day specialized training workshop on 3D printing. The workshop saw participation from a diverse group of students across various disciplines.
The session covered both theoretical and practical aspects, introducing participants to the concept of 3D printing and its pivotal role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It also highlighted the most prominent types of 3D printers, their different technologies, and the wide-ranging applications of this innovation across multiple sectors—including engineering, aviation, industrial design, and education.
Students had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operating 3D printers, preparing models and files using specialized software, and ultimately printing real prototypes that showcased the skills they acquired during the workshop. This practical exposure significantly boosted their confidence in working with this advanced technology.
This workshop is part of a series of initiatives organized by the Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Center to enhance students' technical skills and prepare them for the latest industrial advancements. By fostering applied knowledge and expertise, the university aligns with its vision of supporting innovation and excellence.
