Every Societal institution has its own philosophy. This philosophy is, in fact, an extension of the philosophy of the country it belongs to and is generally consistent with its mission, functions and goals. It involves the set principles, rules, values and standards that were laid down when the institution was established and within whose framework the institution functions. This philosophy is sometimes clearly stated and sometimes implied.

   The philosophy of Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies is based on two main pillars namely; adherence to the established practices, values and ideals of the Arab society, and secondly commitment to the principles upon which the modern university has been founded and developed. This framework, among other things, stresses respect for the intellect and the scientific methods of research, as well as, respect for ethics, truth, integrity, justice, freedom and equality.

   Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies is committed to accomplish its mission, carry out its functions and fulfil its goals within the framework of this philosophy in an environment of integrity, truthfulness and responsibility and at the highest level of distinction and excellence. At the core of this philosophy is the University's commitment to Arab national interests. Last but not least, working within the framework of this philosophy will prevent deviation from the University's values in all its forms; academic, behavioural, and administrative.
