College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University Implements a Scientific Workshop Entitled “Genetic Engineering”
The College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a scientific workshop for college students under the title “Genetic Engineering,” where Dr. Sama Taha Al-Jamal, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Innovation and Biotechnology, presented during the workshop the main concepts related to genetic delivery and biotechnology in producing vaccines and fighting cancer disease.
This participation copes with the efforts of the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University to enhance scientific research and raise the level of academic communication with students, with the aim of harmonizing the outcomes of learning, teaching and scientific research. In addition, the workshop aimed to direct students towards participating in scientific research and encourage them to enroll in graduate programs , especially after the introduction of the Master’s program in Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs at the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University.
It is worth noting that Dr. Sama has many research papers, scientific contributions and patents in the field of health and cancer control, and she recently joined the family of the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University.
