About Students

The Principal function of the University since its establishment has been teaching, and the first and main aim of the contemporary teaching is the preparation of distinguished leaderships capable of serving their country and society and at the same time are research–oriented and endowed with insight and creativity. Such leaderships, whatever positions they hold, will be able to perform their duties with competence, integrity and responsibility.

Being aware of the above stated conceptions, Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies has been keen to provide the best quality education for its students and apply cutting edge methods of instruction. The University also applies the latest methods of assessment.

It could be said that Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies is the only Arab University in which evaluation of theses and dissertations is confidential and is done by a professional evaluator from outside the University to ensure that the theses and dissertations meet the required academic standards.

It is well Known, on the other hand, that students in many developed countries who continue their tertiary education in general or their graduate studies in particular are often regular students who attend classes but at the same time assume jobs in the private and public sectors and that some of them hold high ranking positions in their institutions. These students aim mainly to develop their job competencies through their undergraduate or graduate studies and pursue education from cradle to grave.

It is worth to mention that the percentage of partly full-time students at the American universities studying toward the Bachelor, Master's or doctoral degree nears50%.
