The Mailing Unit
The Mailing Unit links the University with the Arab and world communities, decision-making centers, deanships and all departments and administrative units of the University. Its duties and responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
1- Maintaining the confidentiality of incoming mail so that no one is allowed perusal of mail except the parties concerned.
2- Keeping copies of all incoming and outgoing documents.
3- Dispatching copies of the out going letters to the parties the letters have been issued by.
4- Rapidly distributing mail (incoming or outgoing) and as soon as it is received to the addressees after carrying out relative necessary procedure.
5- Circulating internal directives and decisions to all colleges and departments at the University.
6- Recording and documenting all incoming and outgoing letters.
7- Pursuing the incoming e-mails and sending them to the concerned parties via the Intranet for responding to them.
8- In case a personal mail is received the concerned person is advised by phone. He/She can then receive it in person or send someone to receive it on his/her behalf.
The Mailing Unit will always be ready to make every possible effort to serve all deanships, and University departments and units, and preserve the University documents in the best possible way.
