Above all , the Center aims to develop the students' reading , writing , and speaking skills in both Arabic and English . This is done through the following :

* The Center offers remedial courses both in Arabic and English for students who fail the Proficiency Tests in Arabic and English . Students who pass these courses are considered to have passed these tests .

* The Center offers courses level (1) and (2) in English for graduate students who score less than (500) in the TOEFL (ITP) exam .

* The center offers courses (101) , (102) for undergraduate students.

* The Center offers , upon request , courses in English for special purposes for interested people from the community in the following fields :

English for Tourism

English for Business

English for Hotel Management

English for Nursing

* The Center participates in preparing tests for the proficiency exams in Arabic and English .

* The Center is charged with proofreading the theses and dissertations written in Arabic or English .

* The Center offers translation services from Arabic into English and vice versa for documents and mail referred to the Center by deanships and administrative departments .
